5 Brides, 1 Wedding is an exciting radio promotion which aims to give away a complete wedding package worth approx £25,000 for one lucky couple. The 5 selected couples will race around the area raising as much money as possible for TFM Radio’s charity, Cash for Kids.
Dawn Carney, manager of Cash for Kids, said;
“This campaign will make a significant difference to the lives of many people within our local community. Thanks to many local companies, we are able to give away such an amazing prize to one lucky couple. More importantly in doing so, we will raise thousands of pounds for our very own children’s charity, Cash for Kids. This in return will be distributed to local sick, disabled and under-privileged children this summer. “
Dawn added; “Last year, with your help we were able to support nearly 15,000 local children and we aim to help even more this year. For your chance to take part, simply register online at tfmradio.com or pop into any Jennings Motor dealers in Teesside.”
Jennings Motor Group with its Ford branch in Stockton and additional Ford, Ford Commercial, Mazda and SEAT branches in Middlesbrough, have agreed to supply five vehicles for the duration of the promotion.
Colin Massey, sales manager at JenningsFord’s branch in Middlesbrough, said;
“We are very much a community focused company, so when we were approached by TFM about sponsoring the event which will be raising thousands of pounds for charity, we were more than willing to assist by agreeing to supply a variety of vehicles from our Ford, SEAT and Mazda ranges.”
The competition officially started on Monday 30th March, and will run for a further two weeks when 20 shortlisted applicants will be brought before a judging panel at Bridal Boot Camp. This is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 15th April at the fabulous wedding venue Crathorne Hall Hotel where short-listed couples will be put to the test in a series of tasks based on their enthusiasm, effort, their originality and on how romantic they are.
10 from the boot camp will then be selected to read their wedding vows in their own innovative way. Whoever is deemed to be originally romantic, cute or whacky will be short listed to the final five. The five finalists will meet at the morning show where they will be interrogated by the “Guru of Love” Graham Mack from the TFM breakfast show. They will then be ready for their ultimate task – raising money for the charity.
This seemingly simple task will push the couples to their limits! Dressed in the elegant and stylish attire of marriage they must drive in the five vehicles supplied by Jennings Motor Group, approach people, tell people what they’re doing and hope that one of the other couples hasn’t met them yet! The couple who collects the most will be declared the winner. For further details, visit www.tfmradio.com/cashforkidscomments powered by
