Customers visiting Jennings Ford in Stockton were treated to an exclusive preview of the latest model to the family, the all-new Ford B-MAX model.

The model, which is available to pre-order, but not officially launched until mid summer, attracted customers from across Teesside who came to see the latest model at Jennings Ford’s Yarm Road dealership.

Ray Riaz, general manager of the Jennings Ford branch in Stockton, said; “The exclusive preview event was a huge success with a number of customers visiting the showroom to see Ford’s ingeniously designed compact five-seat people carrier on display.”

Based on the Fiesta platform, the all-new B-Max, priced from £12,995, offers a clear and simple range of three model styles, including the Studio, Zetec and Titanium and sets a new standard in its class for fuel economy and C02 emissions with Ford’s latest petrol and diesel engines.

Available with a choice of four petrol and two diesel engines, the all-new B-Max which comes with a 1.0-litre 120PS EcoBoost petrol engine, will offer 114g/km C02 emissions and fuel economy of 57.6mpg.

The latest model features a range of technologies which reduce fuel consumption and C02 emissions. These include Auto-Start-Stop, which automatically shuts down the engine when the vehicle is idle; the Ford Eco Mode driver information system, which helps drivers adopt a more economical driving style; Gear Shift Indicator, to highlight the most efficient gear changing points; and Smart Regenerative Charging, which charges the battery at the most economical points in a journey.

While compact in size, Ford’s ingenious Easy Access Door System integrates the central body pillars into the doors of its multi-activity vehicle to create 1.5-metre wide unobstructed openings on either side of the car to help reduce everyday motoring stress.
