A breakfast business forum hosted by Jennings Ford and Mazda business centres has been hailed a huge success by the North East Chamber of Commerce.
The Breakfast Club event which was aimed at new members was organised by the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) and took place at Jennings Group’s Riverside Road dealership, just off Wessington Way, in Sunderland.
More than 60 delegates attended the event, which provided new members with an early morning networking opportunity.
Ray Cardwell, business centre manager based at Jennings Ford in Sunderland, said;
“As a member of NECC we were delighted to host the breakfast club event, which is an ideal forum for individuals to exchange contact details, ideas and even business, in an informal way.”
In addition to a number of presentations from NECC, covering areas such as the benefits of membership, legal advice, NECC policy and training, delegates were also given a 15-minute presentation about the benefits of company fleet cars from Ford Motor Company’s business development manager, Beverly Thornton.
Delegates were also given the opportunity to see the range of Ford vehicles, including the commercial range, in addition to Mazda’s model line-up.
Everyone who attended the event, was also given the opportunity to enter into a free prize draw to win a Pama Delta Bluetooth Handsfree Kit and a Via Michelin Satellite Navigation Unit, which were supplied courtesy of Jennings Motor Group.
Kerina Clark, from XCEL, based at Aycliffe Business Park, was the lucky winner of the Bluetooth Hands Free Kit and Richard Durham, from Prestways in Newcastle, walked away with the Satelliite Navigation System.
