South Shields man, Colin Hutton, works as a business manager at the Newcastle Road dealership and has just been rewarded after achieving 15 years’ loyalty.
In addition to his loyalty to the company, Colin is also one of group’s longest serving business managers.
Colin joined the dealership in 1995 when he was appointed as a sales executive. Four years later, he received his first promotion to deputy business manager and in 2000, after successfully completing a number of intensive training courses he received a second promotion to business manager.
In his role as business manager he is responsible for all aspects of customer finance and insurance, in addition to tailoring finance packages to meet the needs of individual customers.
“I’ve always enjoyed the job I do, which is why I have remained loyal over the years,” said Colin.
Prior to embarking on a career within the motor industry, Colin worked in retail for 13 years.
The presentation took place when David Walker, general sales manager at Jennings Ford Direct in South Shields, handed the vouchers to Colin.
David said: “It was an absolute pleasure presenting the loyalty vouchers to Colin, who is a valuable asset to the sales team.”
