Assisting Motability customers on the road to freedom is something which gives a member of staff at Jennings Ford Direct immense job satisfaction.
Ray Maitland, motability specialist based at the group’s Newcastle Road dealership, takes extreme pride in the service he provides to his Motability customers. In turn, those same customers have their own special way to say thank-you for such a professional service.
Over the years, loyal and dedicated Ray has assisted hundreds of motorists on the road to motability through the scheme and just about every one of those customers has sent a thank-you card as a token of their appreciation for his help, assistance and advice.
The only problem for Ray is that the space on the showroom wall is becoming somewhat limited due to such an extensive display of cards.
Ray said; “Receiving thank-you cards from customers in appreciation for the service they’ve received, is an added bonus. If my customers are happy, then I am happy too.”
The Motability Programme is available to those customers who are in receipt of one of the following benefits: the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DVLA) War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMA) or currently driving a government trike or mini.
Customers can then take their pick from a variety of vehicles in the Ford range, including the all-new Ka and Fiesta, the Focus, Fusion, C-MAX, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy.
The most popular model for Motability customers is the all-new Ford Fiesta, which since its launch last year, continues to dominate the popularity chart and is the best-seller in the Motability model line-up.
Motability customers can also take advantage of a number of additional facilities, including the Home Visit Programme and an Adaptation service.
The Home Visit Programme involves convenient appointments being arranged in the comfort of the customer’s home and is available to those customers who are unable to visit the dealership in person.
The Adaptation service enables any vehicle to be adapted to meet individual needs and requirements.
