Danny steers towards career success

An ambitious young Middlesbrough man is on the road to a successful career in motor mechanics and it’s all thanks to JenningsMazda.
Danny Hall, 19, from Ormesby, is near to completing a three-year Apprenticeship programme at JenningsMazda’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough.
For the past two years, the dedicated youngster has been gaining practical ‘hands on’ experience working closely with qualified and experienced technicians within the service department at Middlesbrough, in addition to attending college on a day release basis.
“I’ve always been interested in cars and from a very young age I’ve always been keen to get my hands dirty under the bonnet, so when I heard about the light vehicle and repair apprenticeship programme, I just knew it was right for me,” said Danny.
“It’s great because you’re able to gain practical experience and at the same time achieve additional qualifications.”
With two NVQs already under his belt, Danny who is also learning to drive, is looking forward to completing his third and final level this year, when he will be regarded as a fully qualified technician.
