A member of staff at JenningsFord has been rewarded for his loyalty to the company.
David Walker, from Ingleby Barwick, has accrued 20 years’ loyal service.
His first taste of employment with JenningsFord was in 1988 when he was appointed as a sales controller at the group’s Yarm Road dealership in Stockton.
Fifteen years later and his role changed thanks to a well deserved promotion to sales manager at the Stockton branch.
In 2003, he received yet another promotion when he transferred to the group’s Ford Direct site in South Shields and took on the role of general sales manager.
Another transfer was in the pipeline for David in September 2006, when the group launched its multi-million pound, purpose-built supersite at Riverside Road, just off Wessington Way in Sunderland.
David said; “I’m delighted with the loyalty vouchers. It’s great to have your hard work recognised in such a rewarding way as this and an excellent incentive for staff.”
“One of the main reasons I have remained loyal to Jennings is because of the company’s professional manner and attitude towards its employees and customers alike.”
To mark David’s loyalty, a special presentation took place at the Riverside Road dealership in Sunderland where Nas Khan, managing director, handed the gift vouchers to David.
“It gives me great pleasure to present this gift as a thank-you from the directors of Jennings Motor Group for David’s loyalty, dedication and commitment over the past 20 years,” said Nas Khan.comments powered by
