Since joining the company, the duo have successfully completed both internal training programmes, in addition to also embarking on a series of on-going external training, organised by the manufacturer.

Recent specialist training at Silverstone, has resulted in Kathryn and Carl becoming official Stinger specialists at the Washington-based dealership.

As well as being a specialist for the Stinger model, Kathryn has also completed relevant training in order to take on the additional role of deputy Motability specialist.

Kathryn said; “The experience and knowledge I have gained through various in-house and external training programmes, has been extremely beneficial for me.

“I’m delighted to be an official specialist for the Stinger model, in addition to also taking on the additional role of deputy Motability specialist.”

Prior to joining Jennings Kia, Kathryn gained experience working in retail sales, in addition spending a number of years working in sales retention for mobile network operator and internet service provider, EE.

Launched in November last year, Kia’s first Gran Turismo and rear-wheel-drive Stinger model follows the design and engineering blueprint laid down by the 2011 Kia GT Concept, and is the highest-performance production vehicle in the company’s history.

Customers can choose from five versions, based on three trim grades (GT-Line, GT-Line S and GT-S) and three turbocharged engines.  Heading the range is the GT-S, powered by a twin turbo 365bhp 3.3-litre V6 T-GDi engine capable of taking the car from standstill to 60mph in only 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 168mph where allowed.
