Dedicated staff in line for loyalty rewards at Jennings Ford

Four members of staff at Jennings Ford have more than one thing in common - They all work for the same employer at the same branch in Stockton and they’ve all just been rewarded for their loyalty to the company.

Thornaby born Andrew Bell, 48, and Mick Johnson, 47, Andrew Cave, 45, from Coulby Newham and Graham Edmondson, 38, from Stockton, all work at the group’s Yarm Road dealership where they have achieved a combined 75 years’ loyalty.

Parts manager, Andrew Cave joined the company in 1990 as a telephone sales representative within the parts department. In 1997, he was promoted to assistant parts manager and in January of this year, received another promotion to parts manager at the Stockton dealership.

Mick Johnson and Andrew Bell also started working at the branch in 1990. Mick was appointed as a telephone sales representative in the parts department and within five years, was promoted to goods inwards supervisor, the same position he holds today. Andrew joined as a telephone sales representative within the parts department, a job which entails selling parts to trade customers, processing orders and organising and dispatching parts.

Meanwhile Graham Edmondson, has achieved 15 years’ loyalty. Graham started on a YTS Scheme, then progressed to complete a 3-year Apprenticeship Programme in the Bodyshop department. Four years ago, he was promoted to bodyshop estimator and is currently responsible for carrying out all estimates for repairs to be carried out on customer’s cars.

Andrew Cave, parts manager, said; “It’s great to have your hard work recognised in such a rewarding way as this and indeed a great incentive for staff to work towards. We are delighted with the vouchers and look forward to many more years’ loyalty with the company.”

Jennings Ford’s Yarm Road branch in Stockton operates sales, service, parts and bodyshop departments.
