Motorists looking to buy a new car are considering a number of ultra low CO2 models currently available at Jennings Ford.
First to be launched was the Focus ECOnetic model with its 1.6-litre TDCi engine last year, this was followed by the Mondeo 1.8 TDCi model at the beginning of this year.
Before the year’s end, motorists across the region can look forward to even more savings when the new ECOnetic Fiesta 1.6 TDCi model will be arriving at Jennings Ford’s Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead and is currently exempt from road tax.
The low emission 1.6-litre TDCi model emits 98g/km of carbon dioxide which places the new Fiesta in the Band A column for Vehicle Excise Duty road taxation.
“More customers are considering the greener, eco-friendly models when it comes to purchasing a new car,” said John Wake, sales manager at Jennings Ford in Gateshead.
He added; “The new ECOnetic model range not only gives customers a clearer conscience about the impact they are having on the environment, but it also is an excellent way in which companies can make substantial savings.”
“For retail customers or businesses reluctant to trust hybrid or electric models but who still want to do their bit for the environment, the Ford ECOnetic range provides a solution.”
