Focus & C-MAX top the popularity chart with Motability customers

According to staff at JenningsFord dealerships across the region, two particular models seem to be appealing to Motability customers.

The Ford Focus and Ford C-MAX are placed at the top of the popularity chart for Motability customers at the group's Yarm Road dealership in Stockton, Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough, Riverside Road in Sunderland, Newcastle Road in South Shields and the Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead.

Jill Wilson, group motability specialist, based at JenningsFord in Stockton, said; “As soon as it has been confirmed that the customer is eligible for a car through the Motability programme, basically they can take their pick from the whole Ford range.”

“Everything from the Ford Ka, Fiesta and Fusion to the Focus, C-MAX, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy, is readily available to Motability customers, but the two most popular models are the Focus and C-MAX.”

The Focus Zetec model comes with alloy wheels, front fog lights, air conditioning, remote central locking, electric door mirrors and a quick clear front windscreen, while the C-MAX is available with air conditioning, remote central locking and electric door mirrors.

Over the years, JenningsFord has assisted thousands of motorists by steering them on the road to mobility through the scheme.

“Advising customers about the Motability options available and assisting towards getting them on the road to mobility, gives me a great deal of job satisfaction,” said Jill.

Before customers can qualify for a car through the Motability programme, they must be in receipt of one of the following benefits: the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DVLA), War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMA) or currently driving a government vehicle, trike or mini.

Customers can also take advantage of a number of additional services, including the JenningsFord Home Visit Scheme and an Adaptation Service.

If, for whatever reason, a customer is unable to visit the showroom personally, the Home Visit Scheme allows appointments to be made at their convenience and in the comfort of their own home.

The JenningsFord Adaptation Service involves vehicles being specifically adapted to meet individual needs and requirements.
