he launch of the 08 registration plate has been recorded a huge success at JenningsFord with 510 orders already taken for the month of March.
Staff at the Group’s Sunderland, Gateshead, South Shields, Stockton and Middlesbrough branches, say the combined success is mainly down to Britain’s favourite small car, the Ford Fiesta.
David Walker, general sales manager at JenningsFord in Sunderland, said; “Throughout the first quarter of 2008, customers have been taking advantage of the Fiesta 1.25 Zetec Climate, 3 door model, which has been available with free Sports Pack and a free Technology Pack.”
The Sports Pack includes 16” alloy wheels and rear tinted windows. While the Technology Pack includes rain sensing front wipers and auto headlamps.
David added; “In addition to the success of the Fiesta, the S-MAX continues to have a dramatic impact on the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicles) segment and the arrival of the all-new Ford Mondeo and Focus, have also contributed towards a successful first quarter across the group’s branch network throughout the region.”
Despite more than 12 million Ford Fiesta models having been bought since its original introduction in 1976, this year will see the official unveiling of the new Ford Fiesta.
Scheduled to take place at The Geneva Motor Show this month, the new Ford Fiesta is set to improve upon the position of the current model and will be available in the showrooms this Autumn.
With the aim to become the UK’s favourite small car, the new Ford Fiesta adopts the same family face as the new Mondeo and the latest cutting-edge kinetic designed, Ford Focus.
The whole Ford range including the Ka, Fiesta, Focus, Coupé Cabriolet, C-MAX, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy, is readily available to test drive at the Stockton and Middlesbrough dealerships.
