Forever young - Fiesta and Fusion
Posted on 20 Mar 2006
It’s not just celebrities who are opting for cosmetic enhancements to improve overall appearance and general performance, it seems the Ford Fiesta and Fusion have undergone facelifts of a different kind.
Botox may iron out those unwanted wrinkles and blemishes on a temporary and rather short term basis, but the new bold exterior and stylish interior designs of the 2006 Fiesta and Fusion models come with an unquestionable ‘no sag’ guarantee.
The Ford Fiesta, one of Britain’s best-sellers, has received an equipment upgrade. Features can include rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, automotive air conditioning, satellite navigation, power-folding door mirrors, MP3-compatible stereos and voice-controlled hands-free phone kit. The closely related Ford Fusion has also benefited from the same upgrades, which have been possible as a result of updating the cars’ electronic and electrical systems.
In addition, the exterior of the Fiesta and Fusion now has restyled bumpers and grille, new headlamps, thicker body side mouldings and, on selected models, body-coloured door handles and mirrors; new instruments are fitted in the cabin, with a soft touch upper dashboard section, along with new seat fabrics and colour combinations.
Steven Flack, sales manager at Jennings Ford in Stockton, said: “We hosted a preview weekend which was a huge success. We’re delighted with the response and look forward to a further increase in sales in the near future.”
The Jennings Ford dealership at Yarm Road provides everything for Ford owners old and new. As well as offering the full range of Ford vehicles, Jennings can also offer a full servicing, parts and bodyshop facility.comments powered by
