Hard work pays off for dedicated Brian

An employee of Jennings Ford has been rewarded for his loyalty to the company.
Brian White, 51, from South Shields, has worked for the company for the past fifteen years.
Over the years, Brian, who is currently based at the group’s Commercial Sales Centre on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough, has gained vast experience working in a variety of roles, which has also contributed towards working his way up the ranks to his current position of commercial sales and business manager.
It all started in 1993 when Brian decided he was ready for a complete career change and took the plunge, after working for seven years as a financial advisor, into the world of the motor industry.
Appointed as a driver, Brian was responsible for travelling the length and breadth of the country delivering and picking up vehicles, in addition to transferring vehicles between branches throughout the region.
Within a couple of years his potential was recognised and he was promoted to fleet sales executive based at the group’s Newcastle Road dealership in South Shields.
Gaining invaluable experience working in fleet sales, in addition to working alongside the group’s Business Centres at various branches throughout the region, in 2001 Brian was once again rewarded for his hard work with another promotion. The promotion to commercial sales and business manager resulted in a transfer to the group’s dealership in Middlesbrough where he is currently responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the Commercial Sales Centre, in addition to all aspects of business finance.
“I’ve always been happy in my job and enjoyed the challenges, which is one of the main reasons I have remained loyal,” said Brian.
The presentation took place at Middlesbrough where Alan Bailes, commercial sales/general manager, handed the loyalty vouchers to Brian.
“Brian is a loyal and dedicated member of the team who will continue to succeed in future years,” said Alan.
The Commercial Sales Centre in Middlesbrough is a ‘one-stop shop’ for customers looking to purchase new or used Ford Commercial vehicles. The Centre boasts an interior showroom and extensive exterior commercial vehicle display area where the whole Ford Commercial range is readily available for customers to test drive.
In addition to offering the whole Ford Commercial range including the Ford Ranger, Ford Transit, Transit Connect, Fiesta Van, Transit Chassis Cabs, Transit One-Stop, Transit Mini-Bus and the Ford Ranger, the Centre also houses an extensive range of used commercial vehicles for customers.
Customers can also take advantage of a number of additional services on offer, including an ‘Adaptation Service’ which allows customers to have any vehicle adapted in order to meet the individual needs and requirements of the business. In addition, a ‘Signage Service’ is also available, which involves Jennings organising company logos and images.
