Internet enquiries leads to new role for Andrew

A new recruit has joined the team at - JenningsFord and he’s no stranger to the company.
Andrew Diston, 30, from Easington, near Peterlee, has joined the Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead, as internet sales executive.
Over the years, Andrew has gained relevant experience and knowledge for the role having previously worked at the group’s former dealership in Washington, prior to the sales operation relocating to the Sunderland supersite in October 2007.
In his new role as internet sales executive, Andrew will be responsible for monitoring and dealing with internet enquiries, liaising with customers, processing orders and ensuring vehicles are prepared on time for delivery.
Andrew said; “I am delighted to have been given this excellent opportunity and look forward to a long and successful career with JenningsFord.”
John Wake, sales manager at JenningsFord in Gateshead, said; “Thanks to today’s advanced technology, more people are doing their homework via the internet before making a final decision on a new or used car and it seems those same customers are prepared to travel the length and breadth of the country in order to secure a deal on a decent motor.”
John added; “But, it’s not just about the price. Obviously, the model and the price have to be right for the customer before they make that important purchasing decision, but what is evident to us is that customers from all over the UK, say they’d prefer to travel to the North East because of the friendly and attentive customer service they receive.”
And customer service is of paramount importance to Jennings, having been the recipients of the Chairman’s Award, one of Ford’s most prestigious awards for customer satisfaction, 13 times over the past 15 years.
