Internet sales team expands to cater for on-line demand

Due to an increase in internet sales and to meet national demand, Jennings Motor Group has expanded its internet sales centre with a new recruit.

University graduate, Deyin Turna, 23, from Dunston in Gateshead, has joined Jennings Motor Group’s head office located on Parsons Road in Washington, as an internet sales executive.

Working alongside the group’s internet sales manager, Paul Beadling and the team of five internet sales executives, Deyin is responsible for securing sales on new and quality approved used cars on a local and national level, in addition to arranging vehicle delivery for individual customers.

After achieving a 2:1 degree in Business Enterprise Management at Sunderland University, Deyin spent six months gaining experience working for the family’s leather and property businesses in Istanbul. 

On his return to the UK, his initial plan was to move to London, but that all changed when he landed a job with Jennings Motor Group.

“My initial plan was to find employment in London, but securing the job at Jennings made me want to stay in the north east, it’s also made me realise that working in sales is where I want to progress my career in the future.”

For the past two years, the internet sales centre, which was originally set up as a call centre to filter sales leads to managers across Jennings Ford, Mazda, SEAT and Kia dealerships across the north east, has been securing new and used car sales online, in addition to arranging vehicle deliveries nationwide for customers.
