Jennings Mazda’s franchise manager receives loyalty reward

A dedicated member of staff at Jennings Mazda, part of the award-winning Jennings Motor Group, has been rewarded for his loyalty to the company.

James Chorlton, 50, from Willington, County Durham, has been rewarded for his continued dedication, commitment and loyalty over the past 15 years.

The presentation took place at the group’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough, where the company’s managing director, Nas Khan, handed over the loyalty vouchers to James.

Nas said; “In addition to having a loyal customer database, the majority of our staff are also longstanding.  This year alone will see 28 members of staff across the group being rewarded for a combined 565 years’ loyalty to the company.

“I would like to congratulate James for his loyalty achievement.  He is a dedicated and committed member of the management team.”

James’ career started with the company in 2000 when he was appointed as a sales executive at the company’s former Neville’s Cross dealership in Durham.  In 2003, James received his first promotion to sales controller/business manager and transferred to the group’s Washington dealership. Another promotion was on the cards in 2007, when James transferred to the group’s supersite in Middlesbrough where he took over as franchise manager at the company’s Mazda franchise.

Prior to joining Jennings Motor Group, James gained experience in sales working at another motor dealer in the region and prior to that spent 14 years working in the bakery department at Sainsbury’s, where he worked his way up to bakery manager.

Commenting on the loyalty awards, James, said; “I am delighted to receive my certificate and loyalty vouchers, which are a great incentive for staff.” 

The Jennings Mazda dealership sells the entire range of new Mazda range, with everything including the Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda6, MX-5, CX-5,  the all-new CX-3 and all-new MX-5 on display and available to test drive.

Customers aftersales needs are also catered for with a service, MOT, accident repair centre and parts department on site.
