Delighted with the promotion, Paul, said; “Over the years I have been given many opportunities to progress my career within the group. The promotion is another excellent opportunity for me and a challenge I am very much looking forward to.”
Paul’s career with Jennings Motor Group began in 2005 when he was appointed as a motor vehicle technician. Within a few years, after passing relevant theory and practical courses, he received his first promotion to senior motor vehicle technician. Completing additional training and assessments last year, resulted in Paul becoming a fully-fledged specialist technician – the highest level that can be achieved within the industry.
June Appleyard, service manager at the group’s Washington site, said; “As a company committed to continuously training and developing staff, Paul is a perfect example of what can be achieved as a result of hard work, dedication and continuous commitment.
“He is an asset to the service team and truly deserved the promotion.”
Working alongside Paul is recently promoted workshop controller, Andrew Hogarth, who has transferred from the group’s Ford Direct dealership in South Shields where he previously worked as a senior technician.
Over the years, Andrew has gained a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge working for a number of motor dealers across the region.
The service department at Washington has a dedicated team of staff, all of whom are committed to delivering the highest level of customer service, in addition to Paul’s team of trained motor vehicle technicians who are responsible for carrying out service and MOTs on customer’s cars, using the latest tools and diagnostic equipment, as well as genuine Kia and Ford parts.
Paul added; “Customers can relax in the knowledge that all of our technicians are fully trained and will carry out work to the highest standard, using only genuine parts.”
