A trip overseas was in store for the managing director of JenningsFord recently -and it was all in aid of the Ford of Europe Chairman’s Award.
As a result of the service department at JenningsFord in Sunderland consistently achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, not only has the North Hylton Road dealership beaten local and national competition, but it is the only dealer in the North East to scoop Ford’s most prestigious award for customer satisfaction.
Nas Khan, managing director of the Jennings Motor Group was personally invited to the annual award ceremony, which took place in the Chairman’s Award Hospitality Suite on the 24th floor of world’s leading seven star Hotel, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, by Ford of Britain Chairman and managing director, Roelant de Waard.
“I was extremely honoured and immensely proud to receive the award at the presentation in Dubai,” said Nas Khan, managing director of the Jennings Motor Group.
JenningsFord has been the recipient of the award, which is presented to dealerships in recognition of reaching outstanding levels of customer satisfaction across both sales and aftersales, on 15 separate occasions.
The Car Premium Repairers Chairman’s Award involves customers automatically receiving an independent questionnaire from Ford, regarding the service they have received when their car has been serviced or repaired at the dealership. The questionnaire, which is assessed by Ford, is in place to ensure that individual dealers are adhering to specific guidelines set out by Ford in order to ensure that customers are completely satisfied.
Nas added: “It goes without saying that we are delighted to have received Ford’s most prestigious award for so many consecutive years. It is a marvellous achievement for our staff who consistently strive to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”
The award couldn’t have come at a better time for the Group’s branch in Sunderland as the board of directors and staff prepare for the imminent launch of the new multi-million pound development, situated on the site of the former Ferguson Transport depot in Sunderland.
On completion the new dealership, which is scheduled to open at the end of August 2006, will house Ford and Mazda dealerships, in addition to a purpose-built Ford Commercial Sales Centre.comments powered by
