Loyalty reaps rewards for dedicated Alex

An employee at the Jennings Ford and Mazda service department in Washington has been rewarded for his loyalty to the company.

Alex Bell, 52, from Washington, has worked at the Parsons Road dealership as a senior technician, for the past 15 years.

From a very young age, Alex was always keen to learn exactly how things work under the bonnet of a car.

After leaving school at the age of 16, he embarked on a four-year apprenticeship programme and became a fully fledged motor technician.

Over the years, he has gained vast knowledge and experience having worked at a number of motor dealers across the region, in addition to gaining experience in the United States, when he spent two years working as a Ford motor technician in Houston, Texas.

Alex said; “I’ve always enjoyed my job which is the main reason I have remained loyal to Jennings. It’s great to have your hard work recognised in such a rewarding way as this.”

A special presentation took place when service manager/aftersales manager, Brian Johnston, handed the loyalty vouchers to Alex.

“It was an absolute pleasure presenting Alex with his loyalty vouchers. He is a dedicated member and an asset to the service team at Washington.”
