Loyalty rewards for dedicated duo

Two members of staff at Jennings Ford have been celebrating after they achieved a combined 30 years’ of loyalty with the company.

Dedicated duo Rob Chapman, who works as a local business executive and sales controller, David Glendinning have achieved 15 years’ loyalty at the group’s Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead.

Rob Chapman, 61, from Whickham, started working at the dealership as a sales executive in 1996. Within a short period of time, he was promoted to local business specialist, the position he holds today.

Over the years, Rob, who now works as part of the Jennings’ South Tyneside Business Centre team, has been responsible for building sturdy relationships with both local and national businesses by providing flexible and tailor-made packages for companies looking to purchase vehicles from the Ford car and commercial range.

“Having a loyalty reward programme is a great incentive for staff,” said Rob.

David Glendinning, 47, from Chester-le-Street, started his career at the Jennings Ford dealership in Gateshead as a business manager prior to being promoted to sales controller. Working alongside the dealership’s sales manager, Barry Fearon, David assists with the day-to-day running of the branch.

Prior to joining Jennings Ford, David worked as a manager at Lloyds bank for 16 years. He started as an office junior and worked his way up the ranks to manager.
