MANAGER'S LOYALTY REWARD

A manager at Jennings Ford Direct, part of Jennings Motor Group, has been rewarded after achieving 25 years’ loyalty with the company.
David Walker, from Ingleby Barwick, received his loyalty vouchers from managing director, Nas Khan, at a presentation which took place at the Newcastle Road branch in South Shields where David works as general sales manager.
Nas said; “I am delighted to present David with the vouchers in recognition of his loyalty, dedication and commitment over the years.
“The majority of staff employed across the group, in addition to the majority of our customer database, are loyal and longstanding.”
David started working for the company in 1988 when he was appointed as a sales controller at the group’s Yarm Road dealership in Stockton.
A few years later and he received his first promotion to sales manager and in 2003, David received a second promotion when he transferred to the group’s Ford Direct site in South Shields and took on the role of general sales manager.
David also spent a couple of years managing the group’s former Ford dealership on Riverside Road in Sunderland, prior to moving back to the Newcastle Road site in Shields in 2008.
David said; “The staff loyalty scheme is an excellent incentive for staff.”
