Mark is crowned top salesman on five consecutive occasions

A new recruit at Jennings Ford is proving he’s got what it takes to be successful in sales after consistently topping the sales chart since he joined the company five months ago.
The writing was on the wall for dedicated Mark Guthrie, 37, from Blaydon, who topped the sales chart in his first month of employment at the Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead.
Since then, Mark has successfully retained the top title after selling a grand total of 102 new and used cars within a five-month period which has resulted in scooping the ‘top sales’ title for the past five consecutive months.
“Mark joined Jennings Ford after gaining relevant experience and knowledge working in a similar role for another motor dealer in the region,” said Barry Fearon, sales manager at Jennings Ford in Gateshead.
Barry added; “He is an exceptional sales executive who has extensive product knowledge and an excellent rapport with customers.”
In his role as sales executive, Mark works alongside an eight-strong sales team and is responsible for selling new and used cars to customers, in addition to liaising with existing and potential customers, ensuring vehicles are delivered in time and that the highest possible standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
Mark said; “I thoroughly enjoy working in car sales, but it is also important to be happy in your working environment, which of course I am.
Mark added; “Advising customers and assisting them through the whole purchasing process, from the initial enquiry stage through to delivering the vehicle to the customer, gives me a great deal of job satisfaction. If my customers are happy, then I’m happy too.”
