The wait is over for motorists wanting to get their hands on the new Mazda3 MPS, which is now available to test drive at Jennings Mazda.
The eagerly awaited new Mazda3 MPS ‘superhatch’, which is the fastest sports hatchback in its class, has generated a healthy waiting list from motorists keen to test drive the stunning, new addition to the Mazda range at the Middlesbrough and Sunderland dealerships.
Warwick Maddison, franchise manager at Jennings Mazda in Middlesbrough, said: “The new Mazda3 MPS has generated extremely positive exposure in the media, which has resulted in a tremendous response from both existing and potential customers wanting to book test drives.”
Warwick added: “Aimed to appeal to both private and company car drivers, the exhilarating driving dynamics, high levels of specification and unrivalled performance of the Mazda3 MPS is guaranteed to contribute towards continued sales success at the dealership.”
Powered by a turbocharged 2.3 litre petrol engine, which generates 260ps and 380Nm of torque, the Mazda3 MPS has a top speed of 155mph and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds. This engine drives the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and is Euro4 compliant.
The fastest and best handling model in the hugely popular Mazda3 range, the Mazda3 MPS is being offered as a single, fully specified and lavishly equipped model. Highly sophisticated and remarkably refined, the five-door Mazda3 MPS combines sensationally spirited performance with remarkable everyday practicality, appealing to the heart and head.
The new ‘superhatch’ features distinctive sports styling with unique grille and bonnet designs, front fog lights, side skirts and rear roof spoiler. Each model sports 18-inch diameter, 7-inch wide, 10-spoke aluminium alloy wheels as standard.
In addition, each Mazda3 MPS also comes with front, side and curtain airbags, plus ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) as well as Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) to safely help reduce stopping distances. Each car also features Dynamic Stability Control with a Traction Control System (TCS) to help prevent understeer and oversteer whilst the responsive Limited Slip Differential (LSD) automatically optimises torque split between the front wheels helping to maintain grip and traction during acceleration and fast cornering.
