Time was of the essence for staff at Jennings Ford in Stockton when they received an unexpected phone call from Middlesbrough Football Club, with a special request for their latest signing, Mido.
24-year-old, Egyptian striker, Ahmed Hossam Hussein Abdelhamid, also known as ‘Mido’ hit the headlines recently following a £6m transfer from Tottenham to the region’s Premier League Club, Middlesbrough.
When staff at the Club needed to organise a temporary vehicle for the international striker, they contacted Jennings Ford’s Yarm Road dealership in Stockton, who were more than will to assist.
Within an hour of receiving the phone call, a vehicle was delivered by members of Jennings’ sales team, to Middlesbrough’s Training Head Quarters at Hurworth Place in Darlington.
Steven Flack, sales manager at Jennings Ford in Stockton, said; “We always strive to consistently provide the best possible service to all of our customers, which is reflected in the number of times we have won the Chairman’s Award, Ford’s most prestigious award for customer satisfaction.”
“We were delighted to assist the Club with their request to provide a temporary vehicle for Mido and would like to wish both MFC and Mido every success in the future.”comments powered by
