Motability customers visiting Jennings Ford’s Gateshead, Middlesbrough and Stockton dealerships are taking advantage of the latest compact mini MPV model, which is available through the Motability programme.

The all-new Ford B-Max model is the latest addition to the Ford stable to arrive at the group’s Eslington Park, Cargo Fleet Lane and Yarm Road dealerships across the region and is proving a popular choice amongst Motability customers seeking flexible and spacious seating with class-leading load-space and reduced fuel consumption.

Based on the Fiesta platform, the all-new B-Max offers a clear and simple range of three model styles, including the Studio, Zetec or Titanium and sets a new standard in its class for fuel economy and C02 emissions with Ford’s latest petrol and diesel engines.

Paul Pellegrino, Motability specialist at Jennings Ford in Gateshead, said; “The all-new B-Max 1.4 Zetec model is available with an advance payment of only £95 and despite having only recently arrived in the showroom, it is proving to be a popular choice with our Motability customers who are taking advantage of a unique new door concept which offers the flexibility of twin rear sliding doors. In addition, the model also offers a multitude of technologies to make driving easier, more enjoyable and more efficient.”

Ford’s new Easy Access Door System works by integrating the central body pillars into the doors to create 1.5-metre wide unobstructed openings on either side of the car and reduce everyday motoring stress.

Paul added; “By removing the central door pillars, the initial design concept is maintained and the result is an uninterrupted access of over 1.5 metres wide, which is an ideal feature for Motability customers.”

Available with a choice of four petrol and two diesel engines, the all-new B-Max which comes with a 1.0-litre 120PS EcoBoost petrol engine, will offer 114g/km C02 emissions and fuel economy of 57.6mpg.

The all-new B-Max features a range of technologies which reduce fuel consumption and C02 emissions. These include Auto-Start-Stop, which automatically shuts down the engine when the vehicle is idle; the Ford Eco Mode driver information system, which helps drivers adopt a more economical driving style; Gear Shift Indicator, to highlight the most efficient gear changing points; and Smart Regenerative Charging, which charges the battery at the most economical parts in a journey.

In addition to the all-new B-Max model, Motability customers can take advantage of a range of other models available through the Motability programme, including the Ford Ka, Fiesta, 5-door Focus, Focus Estate, 5 seater C-Max, 7-seater Grand C-Max, Kuga, Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy.
