Jennings Motor Group’s Motability event at this year’s Stockton Summer Show was a huge success with members of the public walking away with £250 shopping vouchers, kindles and cinema tickets.

The motor dealer teamed up with Magic 1170 to promote the range of Motability products and services available across the group’s Ford, Kia, Mazda and SEAT dealerships located across Stockton and Middlesbrough.

A team of Motability specialists from the group’s dealerships were on hand to give first hand advice and guidance, in addition to Motability’s Ambassador, Chris Edwards being present over the two-day event.

Members of the public were able to see examples of vehicles available through the Motability programme with an eight-vehicle display, as well as an outdoor Motability display spider dome where staff from Magic 1170 entertained the crowds and gave away a number of prizes.

Jill Wilson, group Motability specialist, said; “The event was a fantastic opportunity to promote the Motability service, which enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a car.”

Customers eligible to lease a car through the Motability Programme, must be in receipt of either the Higher Rate Motability Component of Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), receive the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment.

Motability’s worry-free package includes; a new car, insurance, servicing and maintenance, full breakdown assistance, replacement tyres, windscreen repair or replacement, 60,000 mileage allowance over three years, many adaptations at no extra cost and two named drivers for the vehicle.
