New business initiative increases fleet sales at Jennings

National fleet sales are on the increase at Jennings and it’s all down to a new business initiative which has been introduced by the Group.

Based at the Group’s Yarm Road dealership in Stockton, employee Kevin Murphy, 50, from Hartlepool, previously worked for the Business Centre which is located within the dealership and Kevin Warburton, 45, from Northallerton, has transferred from the Group’s Mazda dealership on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough, where he worked in a fleet sales capacity.

The loyal and dedicated duo have teamed together to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for national fleet customers. The service entails providing tailor-made packages for companies looking to purchase high volume vehicles from the Ford, Mazda and SEAT ranges.

The first five months of business has proved exceptionally successful with a 50% increase in sales being recorded.

One of the main contributing factors to the sales success is down to one of the Group’s major clients, the prestigious Reading-based Provecta Car Plan Ltd.

Nas Khan, managing director for the Jennings Motor Group, said; “While the Business Centre continues to focus on local fleet sales, the new department at Stockton has been initiated so we can focus solely on catering for high volume fleet sales.”
