The all-new Ford C-MAX models have arrived at JenningsFord’s Middlesbrough and Stockton branches.
Two new versions are available - the C-MAX sporty but spacious five-seat version and for families seeking extra seats, the seven-seater, Grand C-MAX, are on display and available to test drive at the group's Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough and Yarm Road branch in Stockton.
The new family C-MAX brings new levels of style and desirability to the compact multi-activity vehicle(MAV) market, with a bold and dynamic new look which extends Ford’s acclaimed ‘kinetic design’ language.
For the first time, customers visiting JenningsFord branches, will have the choice of a five-seat C-MAX or the new seven-seat Grand C-MAX, which features twin sliding doors and innovative seat design to provide outstanding space and flexibility.
The all-new Ford C-MAX range introduces a number of advanced new technologies to the compact MAV class focussed on enhanced comfort, safety and sustainability, including the availability of new and powerful, yet highly fuel efficient, low CO2 Ford EcoBoost petrol engines.
Bold exterior and interior designs have been created using the latest evolution of Ford’s kinetic design form language, building on the themes established in recent product introductions like the hugely successful Fiesta, Kuga and Mondeo ranges.
Customers can choose from three petrol engines and two diesel engines.
Making its debut in the Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX is the all-new four-cylinder 1.6-litre 150bhp and 180bhp Ford EcoBoost engines which come with a new six-speed manual gearbox. The gearbox is also fitted in the 1.6 TDCI and 2.0 TDCI models while drivers who prefer an automatic transmission, the dual clutch Powershift six-speed automatic option is available with 2.0 TDCI engine and delivers emissions of 149g/km.
Colin Massey, sales manager at JenningsFord's branch in Middlesbrough, said; “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers the new five and seven-seater models, which reflect the differing priorities of the typical customers for each model.
The five-seat C-MAX adopts a sportier feel with a stylish passenger-car look and boasts a coupe-like, sweeping roofline which falls off to the rear, but retains the traditional C-MAX virtues of roominess and practicality, while the seven-seat Grand C-MAX is equally dynamic in character and presents a more functional appearance which highlights the extra space and versatility provided by the car.”
