NEW CHALLENGE STEERS MARK TOWARDS A CAREER IN CAR SALES

Jennings Ford, part of the Jennings Motor Group, has strengthened its sales team with a new recruit at its Middlesbrough branch.

Mark Sanders, 48, from Great Ayton, near Middlesbrough, has joined the Cargo Fleet Lane dealership as a sales executive.

In his new role, Mark will work as part of an eight-strong team where he will be responsible for selling the new Ford car model line-up, in addition to quality approved used vehicles to customers. The job will also entail contributing towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives set out by Ford Motor Company and Jennings Motor Group, liaising with existing and potential customers, ensuring vehicles are delivered to customers on time and making sure customers receive the highest level of customer service.

Mark said’ “I was in need of a fresh and new challenge and a career in the motor industry was recommended through a friend who has been successful in the trade.

“I am delighted to have been given this excellent opportunity and looking forward to a long and successful career with Jennings Motor Group.”

Having already completed various internal training programmes, Mark will also be given the opportunity to gain additional experience and knowledge at Ford Motor Company’s training college in Loughborough over the coming months.

Mark’s early career was in farming after gaining a diploma in agriculture at Askham Bryan College in York. He then spent a number of years working as a sales representative with a livestock feed company.

Following a spell working on ticket sales at Heathrow Airport, Mark became self employed and set up a family fruit and vegetable business, Fresh, formerly known as Sanders Brothers in Norton.

Prior to embarking on a career in the motor industry, Mark also set up and managed a landscaping company, which he operated for 13 years.

Welcoming Mark on board, sales manager, Colin Massey, said; “Mark’s appointment is part of an on-going expansion at the dealership, following an influx of new and used car sales.

“Already he is proving to be an asset and welcome addition to the sales team.”
