Jennings Ford in Middlesbrough has further strengthened its sales force with a new addition to the team.
Ian Phillips, 38, from Middlesbrough, has joined the Cargo Fleet Lane dealership as sales executive.
Working as part of an eight-strong sales team, Ian will be responsible for selling new and used cars to motorists across Teesside, in addition to contributing towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives, providing the highest level of customer service, liaising with existing and potential customers and ensuring vehicles are delivered on time to customers.
Prior to joining JenningsFord, Ian worked as a customer service representative for a call centre in Teesside for six months, and before that, spent 15 years as a manager at Gala Casino on Teesside.
“It was a friend who steered me towards car sales and it’s something I wished I’d pursued a long time ago,” said Ian.
He added; “It’s a totally different working environment to what I have been used to over the years, but I am thoroughly enjoying the challenges, it’s great – I only wish I had made the move a long time ago.”
Welcoming the latest recruit on board, Colin Massey, sales manager at the Middlesbrough dealership, said; “Ian has joined the team at one of our busiest periods in the year and has coped exceptionally well. He has the perfect attributes to be successful in car sales.”
