New strips boost team morale

A set of new strips has boosted team moral for youngsters at North Ormesby Football Club.
The under 18s team has been kitted out in brand new strips and it’s all thanks to a joint sponsorship agreement with local motor dealer, Jennings Ford and two North Ormesby-based builders, G Duffy and M Shildrick.
Competing in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance league, the strips were delivered in the nick of time for the League Cup Final which was held at Rockliffe Park at Hurworth, near Darlington.
Despite not winning any silverware for the trophy cabinet, the team is hoping the strips will bring good luck next season.
Colin Massey, sales manager at Jennings Ford’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough, the branch which sponsored the team, said;
“As a company committed to supporting the local community, we were more than willing to assist the under 18s team at North Ormesby Football Club and would like to wish them every success in the future.”
Established in 1993, North Ormesby Football Club is one of the largest football clubs in the area. The club’s biggest achievement is, after 15 years hard work, receiving the FA Community Club Charter mark. The highest award any football club can achieve, North Ormesby Football Club is extremely proud to be the only club in Middlesbrough to have achieved this, in addition to being only one of seven clubs in North Yorkshire with the same award.
The Club has fourteen junior age groups ranging from under 7s through to under 19s, all of whom compete in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance League, in addition to a senior team.comments powered by
