Peter celebrates 35 years’ loyalty with Jennings

A member of staff at Jennings Ford has been rewarded after achieving 35 years’ loyalty to the company.
Peter Binks, from Norton, currently works as group parts manager at the Yarm Road dealership in Stockton. His role entails being responsible for the day-to-day parts operation, in addition to providing support to other parts departments within the group.
His career with the company started in 1973 when Peter was appointed in parts sales. In 1982, he was promoted to parts manager and his last promotion was in 1998, which was to his current position of group parts manager.
To mark the special occasion, a presentation took place at the Yarm Road dealership, where Nas Khan, managing director of the Jennings Motor Group, handed the loyalty vouchers to Peter.
“It was a pleasure presenting the vouchers to Peter, who has always been an extremely hardworking and conscientious member of staff. 35 years is an incredible achievement.”
He added; “We are very fortunate in that the majority of staff, like Peter, are loyal and longstanding.”
Over the years, Peter’s hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed by Ford Motor Company either. Continuously achieving sales objectives has resulted in a number of all-expenses-paid trips to various destinations for Peter.
The most recent was last year when Peter embarked on a four-day trip to Krakow in Poland. Other trips include; Fort Lauderdale, Marrakech, New York, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Arizona, Austria, Seville and Barcelona.
Peter Binks, said; “I thoroughly enjoy my job and being rewarded for being loyal is a great incentive for staff.”
He went on to say; “Over the years I’ve also been given some fantastic opportunities and visited incredible places through Ford’s on-going incentive programme.”comments powered by
