Premier customer service results in prestigious award for Jennings Ford Direct

Staff at Jennings Ford Direct in South Shields have been celebrating after beating local and national competition and scooping a highly prestigious award from Ford Motor Company.
Continuously exceeding all levels in customer satisfaction throughout 2009, has resulted in the service team at the Newcastle Road dealership, winning ‘The Chairman’s Award’.
Throughout last year, the service team at South Shields competed against other Ford dealers nationwide in Ford’s Car Service Customer Viewpoint Chairman’s Award League.
Presented on an annual basis, the award league involves customers automatically receiving an independent questionnaire from Ford, regarding the level of service they have received when their car has been serviced or repaired at the dealership.
The questionnaire, which is assessed by Ford Motor Company, is in place to ensure individual dealers are adhering to specific guidelines set out by Ford in order to ensure that customers are completely satisfied.
Jennings Ford Group is no stranger to the award, having been presented with it 14 times over the past 17 years.
Nicky Dalkin, operations director for Jennings Motor Group, said; “We are extremely proud to once again, be the recipients of Ford’s most prestigious Chairman’s award, which is the most recognised within the Ford industry for delivering outstanding levels of customer satisfaction.”
Nicky added; “Staff are trained to provide the highest levels of customer service and winning this award is a testimony to their continuous hard work and efforts.”
The official presentation will take place next month at a ceremony scheduled to take place at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bath.
