Product knowledge leads to drive of a lifetime for Robert

A member of staff at Jennings Ford was in for a treat recently when he was given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DB9 with professional tuition on hand.
It was a case of proving it’s not who you know, but in fact, what you know for sales executive, Robert Jackson, 28, from Eaglescliffe, when he was selected for the second consecutive year to represent Ford Northern District in a national competition.
Ford’s ‘League of Champions’ national final involved representatives from each district taking part in a 5-Step Walkround for the new Ford C-Max, in addition to answering a number of product related questions.
The Walkround entailed showing customers the features and benefits of the Ford C-MAX in a five-step product knowledge process.
The national final also included a three-course evening meal, champagne reception and an overnight stay in the Quorn Country Hotel in Leicestershire.
The highlight of the trip for Robert, however, was when he got behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DB9.
Robert said; “Being selected by Ford to represent the Northern District in the competition was an honour and privilege for me and being given the opportunity to drive an Aston Martin DB9 was absolutely fantastic.”
Robert was also given the opportunity to drive both the C-MAX and the all-new Ford Mondeo on the track.
