Reaping rewards for loyalty at Jennings Ford

Another member of staff at Jennings Ford, part of the Jennings Motor Group, has been rewarded for his loyalty to the company.

David Nicholson, 55, from Redcar, North Yorkshire, received his loyalty voucher and certificate after achieving 15 years’ loyalty working in sales at the company’s Ford dealership based on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough.

David is one of 28 members of staff being rewarded for a combined 695 years’ loyalty this year.  2017 saw the same number of staff receiving rewards for a combined 690 years’ loyalty.

Jennings Motor Group awards members of staff when they achieve 15 years’ loyalty, then after every five years.

The presentation took place when Colin Massey, general sales manager at the Middlesbrough branch, handed the certificate and high street vouchers to David.

Delighted with his loyalty award, David said: “The loyalty reward scheme is a great incentive for staff, to have your hard work recognised in such a rewarding way as this, is great.”

Working as a sales executive, David, is responsible for selling the new Ford model range, as well as quality used cars at the dealership.  Part of his responsibilities also entails contributing towards monthly and quarterly sales objectives, liaising with existing and potential customers, keeping up-to-speed with new and upgraded products, and striving to provide the company’s award-winning customer service.

David joined Jennings Ford with more than 10 years’ experience in the motor industry, after working in a variety of roles for a number of motor dealers in the North East.  Prior to his motoring career, he spent 15 years working in retail.

Colin Massey, general sales manager at Jennings Ford in Middlesbrough, said: “I would like to congratulate David for his 15 years’ loyalty.  He is a dedicated and committed member of the sales team at Middlesbrough.”

David’s 15 year reward follows that of general sales manager, David Walker, based at the group’s Ford Direct dealership in South Shields, who has achieved 30 years’ loyal service.

Jennings Ford sells the entire new Ford model line-up, in addition to approved used cars, a Motability service, and a range of aftersales facilities, including service, MOT, accident repair and parts.
