Redundancy steers Graham towards a job in car sales

A loyal and dedicated Teesside man who was made redundant from a chemical plant in Redcar, has landed a full-time job at Jennings Ford.
The future was looking bleak for Graham Hulse, 44, from Stockton, who was recently made redundant from his manufacturing technician role at Redcar-based Invista Textiles.
That was until he applied for a job in sales at Jennings Ford’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough and was offered the job there and then at the interview.
Prior to joining his previous employer, Graham worked for 18 loyal years as a terminal operator for another chemical plant called Vorpak.
“I’ve always been interested in cars and when I was faced with redundancy, I felt the motor industry was a natural choice for me,” said Graham.
He added; “I am delighted to have been given this excellent opportunity and look forward to a long and successful career at JenningsFord.”
In his new role as sales executive, Graham will be responsible for selling new and used cars to customers across Teesside, liaising with both existing and potential customers, ensuring vehicles are delivered in time to customers, in addition to consistently delivering the highest possible customer service.
Welcoming Graham on board, Colin Massey, sales manager at the Jennings Ford branch in Middlesbrough, said; “Graham is proving to be an exceptional salesman, with a substantial amount of sales having already been processed within the very short time he has been with the company. We are delighted with his progress.”
