Motorists wanting to test drive the recently revamped MPV model in the Mazda range, can do so at JenningsMazda's dealerships in Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
Originally launched in 2005, the Mazda5 has proven a popular model with its clever rear seating configuration, its unique rear sliding doors, which is now available with electric operation as an optional extra.
Complying with the latest Euro emissions requirements, in addition to achieving maximum safety of five stars with EuroNcap, the new Mazda5 is available with a choice of two petrol, 1.8 and 2.0 and two, 2.0-litre diesel engines.
James Chorlton, franchise manager at JenningsMazda in Middlesbrough, said; “We’re delighted to be able to offer the new Mazda5 to our customers. The model is available in four equipment levels – the TS, TS2, Sport and Sport Nav.”
“It looks sharp, handles well and is competitively priced and generously specified. The perfect choice for families seeking space, practicality combined with improved fuel consumption and CO2 levels.”
The improvements include an automatic transmission on the two-litre TS2 model, restyled front bumpers, a new front grille and rear bumper including an integrated fog lamp.
Front and rear lamps have also been redesigned with the Sport model now featuring LED rear lamps. A new luxury pack has also been introduced, which includes electric sliding doors.
The new Mazda5 retains its innovative ‘Karakuri’ seating, which allows the second row to be transformed from two to three seats in one simple operation. The boot floor flips over to provide two further seats.
