Landing a job in sales at Jennings Ford has paid off for a young and ambitious member of staff.
Dan Race, 19, from Norton in Stockton, joined the Cargo Fleet dealership in Middlesbrough six months ago when he was appointed as a sales executive at the busy Ford dealership located within the group’s supersite.
Exceeding in both new and used car sales at the dealership has resulted in Dan being selected to work at the Ford Direct operation within the same supersite.
The Ford Direct dealership, allows customers to choose from hundreds of nearly-new Ford cars, which have been delivered direct from Ford.
Customers can also take advantage of additional extras, including 2 years unlimited mileage Ford warranty and 24 months Ford Assistance roadside recovery, in addition every vehicle comes independently inspected and approved by RAC and customers can also take advantage of a national delivery service.
Working alongside sales manager, Colin Massey and sales controller, Steven Flack, Dan is delighted to have been given such an excellent opportunity.
He said; “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to work and gain experience within the Ford Direct side of the business and one I am very much looking forward to.”
Dan left Ian Ramsey C of E School in Hartburn at the age of 16 with 11 GCSEs and decided to find full-time employment. Prior to joining Jennings, Dan worked at McDonald’s on Teesside Park and within a year was promoted to manager which entailed being responsible for the day-to-day running of the busy fast food outlet. It was his passion for motors which steered him on the road to a career within the motor industry and with one of the region’s biggest and longest established dealers.
