Members of staff at Jennings Ford Direct, part of the Jennings Motor Group, are doing their bit for charity by taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning for the third consecutive year.
On Friday 25th September, staff at the Newcastle Road dealership in South Shields, will be putting their culinary skills to the test when they prepare a variety of treats including sandwiches, fancy cakes and treats for MacMillan Cancer Support and their annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
David Walker, general sales manager at the South Tyneside dealership, said; “We are delighted to be able to support the event, which has always been well received with both staff and customers, for the third consecutive year.
“We have café facilities on site, so it’s the perfect venue for such an event and once again, staff are looking forward to taking part and raising money for such a worthy cause.”
Last year, thousands of people signed up to take part in the charity’s national coffee morning event and raised more than 25 million.
All money raised help make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through to treatment and beyond.
