It was presentation time recently at JenningsFord when two members of staff were rewarded for their loyalty to the company.
Together, Trevor Liddle, 56, from Whickham, and Kevin Stobbart, 54, from Gateshead, have accrued a total of 65 years’ loyalty at the Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead.
Trevor who started working in the parts department as a parts salesman has worked his way up the ranks and is currently parts manager. In his current role he is responsible for a team of five members of staff, overseeing the parts department with the day-to-day running and ensuring stock supplies and orders are updated on a daily basis.
“Over the years I have witnessed a number of changes in the industry, the most significant being how technology has advanced,” said Trevor.
“Nowadays, everything is done at the simple touch of a button.”
Meanwhile, Kevin Stobbart, has worked for the past 30 years in the workshops as a mechanic.
“Being rewarded for your loyalty to the company is a great incentive for staff,” said Kevin.
The official presentation took place at the dealership in Gateshead where Nicky Dalkin, operations director for the Group, handed the vouchers to Trevor and Kevin.
“It was an absolute pleasure presenting the vouchers to Trevor and Kevin. They are two dedicated and committed individuals.”comments powered by
