A loyal member of staff at Jennings Ford, part of the multi-award winning Jennings Motor Group, has transferred to another dealership.
Sales executive, Ian McCluskey, 29, from South Shields, has transferred from the group’s Eslington Park dealership in Gateshead, to the company’s Ford Direct branch in South Tyneside.
Part of an internal re-structure, the move will see Ian working as part of a ten-strong sales team, being responsible for selling nearly new Ford cars both over the phone and face to face with customers, contributing towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives, liaising with existing and potential customers, in addition to delivering vehicles and attending regular training courses in order to maintain product knowledge.
Commenting on the new addition to the team at South Shields, general sales manager, David Walker, said; “As a loyal employee, Ian already has extensive knowledge regarding the Ford product range and over the past five years, he has gained valuable sales experience in both new and used cars.
“He will be a valuable asset to the sales team at Shields.”
Based on Newcastle Road, the Jennings Ford Direct dealership sells quality approved used vehicles, which have been delivered direct from the manufacturer, in addition to offering a number of after sales facilities, including a service, MOT and parts department on site.
In addition to operating the Ford Direct dealership in South Tyneside, Jennings Motor Group also has three Ford branches based at Gateshead, Stockton and Middlesbrough, where the brand new Ford model line-up is on display and available to test drive.
