2018 Ford Mustang European Edition revealed

Set to offer an increased 450bhp and feature a 10 speed automatic gearbox, the details of the 2018 Ford Mustang for the European market have been revealed. Including updated headlights and amended rear lights, it has an even bigger American look and feel.

With recalibrated shock absorbers to help improve stability when cornering and stiffer rear suspensions thanks to roll bars and cross-axis, the 2018 Ford Mustang will also have the option of the 2.3l EcoBoost engine. Helping to keep the neighbours happy, the introduction of Good Neighbour Mode helps reduce engine running noises between set times. Available technologies will also include Lane Keep Assist, 12”-inch digital cluster and Pedestrian Detection.
Speaking a in a statement, Ford Europe Group VP and President, Steven Armstrong, commented “Europe’s passion for Mustang has proven even greater than we imagined—almost 30,000 Mustangs are already bringing one of the most iconic sights in motoring to the continent’s streets”, he added “There are few cars on the road that can deliver such a combination of heritage, style and performance to such a wide audience. The new Ford Mustang offers the most compelling package yet.”
