All-New Ford Fiesta wins MPG Marathon Challenge

The All-New Ford Fiesta has been named the Most Efficient (Overall) entry at the 2017 MPG Marathon competition. Using a 1.5TDCi (120PS) engine version of the legendary car, drivers Ian McKean and Paul Clifton achieved a staggering overall MPG figure of 122.01 over the 354 mile course.

Increasing the record mpg figure by 12% and the official Ford Fiesta mpg by 52%, the team took on the challenging two day course from the Forest of Arden Country Club before returning.
An All-New Ford Fiesta EcoBoost 125PS also smashed previous records for a petrol engine entry. Achieving an impressive 97mpg beating the previous record of 84mpg, it was crowned the petrol entry champion.
