Ahead of it’s the official launch weekend between Friday 17 November and Sunday 19 November 2017, leading motoring publication Auto Express has road tested the All-New SEAT Arona. Jennings Motor Group takes a look at what Auto Express thought.

With an impressive range of fuel efficient petrol and diesel engines, the All-New SEAT Arona meets individual driver requirements. The petrol starts at a 1.0l three-cylinder unit that produces either 94bhp or 114bhp, and is complemented by a 1.5l four-cylinder at 148bhp. Diesel engines are 1.6l, with bhp of 94 or 114. Auto Express commented “The three-cylinder models in particular should offer an appealing mix of a comfortable, refined drive, plenty of standard equipment, and decent economy and performance”.

Offering a “clever” finish with “plenty of textured” materials, the All-New SEAT Arona features an excellent infotainment system that is mounted in an ideal position. Auto Express recommend the FR level as it is “pure” and offers the “sweetest set up”.

Commenting on the spacious interior of the All-New SEAT Arona, Auto Express commented “Few occupants are likely to complain about headroom, which is excellent in the front and rear, and there should be enough shoulder space for four adults to get along in comfort”. The boot offers an impressive capacity of up to 400 litres.
