All-New SEAT Arona set to launch in UK

Following on from the success of the multi-award winning SEAT Ateca, it has been announced that it will be launched by the All-New SEAT Arona. Set to be launched in the UK in October 2017, it will enter the growing smaller SUV market.

Based on the latest SEAT Ibiza and utilising the latest SEAT engine technology, it is set to compete again models including the Nissan Juke, Citeron C3 Aircross and Kia Stonic. Measuring 4,138mm in length, it is slightly longer than the Nissan Juke, and an increase of 79mm on the latest SEAT Ibiza. Offering exceptional practicality with a spacious 400l boot and increased headroom by 37mm, the All-New SEAT Arona is one of the most practical cars within its class.
Commenting about the impending launch of the SEAT Arona, Luca de Meo, President of SEAT commented "We at SEAT are very persistent. With our biggest product offensive, by the time the Large SUV reaches the market, SEAT will have launched, on average, a new vehicle every six months in two and a half years. SEAT has allocated a total of 900 million euros in investments and R&D expenditure to the Ibiza and Arona. These investments are a part of the total investment of 3.3 billion euros for the 2015-2019 period” he added. "The commercial launch of the New Ibiza is taking place this very month, and Arona will be premiered at the Frankfurt Motorshow".
