The award laden Ford Fiesta has done it again – scooping another prestigious car industry award. Crowned ‘The Telegraph’s Car of the Year 2014’, it beat a host of more expensive cars to snatch the title including the Ranger Rover Evoque and Jaguar XF.
The Telegraph Festival of Motoring has seen reading voting across seven categories for the past few months, and was followed by a panel of experts sitting down to discuss the winner. A staggering 121,929 Ford Fiestas were bought last year securing its position as the UKs best-selling car by some margin. Steve Huntingford from the Telegraph wrote “It’s easy to see why it’s so popular – it’s a sensational all-rounder”.
Complemented for its enjoyable drive, being sharp and agile, and adding pleasure to mundane journeys that most do on a daily basis, the Ford Fiesta has a comfortable ride and good visibility.
