Ford Focus 2018 spied uncovered in testing
Ahead of its UK launch later in 2018, the next generation has been photographed uncovered in a spy image. Usually seen undergoing heavily disguised with camouflage, the latest image appears to have been taken while a television advert is recorded.
First posted on a Hungarian website Vezess, the next generation seems to take influence from the latest generation of the Ford Fiesta. Under the management of Darren Palmer, who masterminded the new Fiesta, KA+ and EcoSport, the next generation Ford Focus is set to be launched in staggered stages to replicate the recent Ford fiesta launch.

The spied 2018 Ford Focus features a rear spoiler, large alloy wheels and red brake callipers. Suggesting that it is possibly a ST-Line model, the Focus ST is set to be released allowing the initial launch.
Likely to be the same width and wheelbase, the 2018 Ford Focus is set to have a 50mm increase in the wheelbase. Weight is set to be reduced by 50kg with official figures set to be released. An Active version of the Ford Focus is set to complement the upcoming Fiesta Active, with both looking to take advantage of the increasing demand for ‘lifestyle’ vehicles.
