Ford Focus 2018 spied undergoing testing

Ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the new Ford Focus in 2018, the next-generation has been spied undergoing road testing. Unlike many road tests that Jennings Motor Group brings you, the pictures show minimal camouflage was used this time round.

With the new striking front grille on full display for the first time, it appears to be taller in height the generation that is set to be replaced. The grille with its straight front design is different from the hexagonal one that was spied when undergoing testing on the legendary Nurburgring.
Taking inspiration from the stunning All-New Ford Fiesta, it is set to include a streamlined interior that is clutter free. The iconic centrally mounted infotainment system is set to be the focal point.
Full specification, pricing and model variations are set to be revealed by Ford in the coming months. When it is revealed Jennings Ford will release an information blog, though a rival to the Volkswagen Alltrack is to be added with an Active version.
Continuing the ‘One Ford’ program of creating cars for the global market, the next generation of the Ford Focus is set to fit the demands of all markets. Having said that, the Focus looks to have again taken inspiration from the traditional European market.
Using the #TimeToFocus on the side decals, Ford did not try and hide the test drive, but look to create public awareness. Set to include the hashtag on further marketing campaigns Ford are likely to use social media as a key driver in targeting public awareness.
