Ford Focus RS gets Team Sky yellow makeover

To celebrate Team Sky’s 2017 Tour de France victory, Ford has revealed a special yellow edition of the team’s Ford Focus RS Option Pack scouting car to match the legendary of the jersey colour of the winner.

As well as winning the overall general classification and the yellow jersey, Team Sky, who use Ford support vehicles including, Ford Kuga, Ford Edge, Ford Transit vans, won the best overall team award. Additionally, rider Mikel Landa finished 4th in the general classification.
Speaking about the 2017 Team Sky victory Ford of Europe, Marketing, Sales and Service vice president, Roelant de Waard commented “The Tour de France has once again captured the imagination of the world and we are delighted to be part of a winning team, our vehicles playing an integral role in helping Team Sky and Chris Froome to achieve another well-deserved victory.”
Recently announcing that the Ford has extended its partnership with Team Sky through to 2019, Team Sky is already planning for the 2018 Tour de France and securing a sixth win in seven years.
